Roaming 'round Roatan (January 2002)index | prev

One morning, we took a boat trip to a nearby beach.

It was a lovely beach, with everything one could hope for: shady groves of palm trees;

baby coconuts;

pretty flowers;

rickety old docks;

and geriatric volleyball.

We also visited a botanical garden, in which I discovered plants demonstrating the computer science principles of depth first recursion...

...breadth first recursion...

...and the brute force approach.

Another afternoon, we went for a hike through the jungles and up a hill.

There were fancy trees...

...friendly geckos...

...and a fine vista at the top of the hill.

After a relaxing three days on the keys, we made the uneventful journey home... by canoe. Which brings our tale to a close. As the dolphins so aptly put it, "So long and thanks for all the fish."
