While driving through the countryside, we stumbled across this lovely
cliff-top town, by the name of Pitigliano, and decided that it would
be a fine place to have lunch.
We asked directions to a restaurant in Pitigliano and ended up talking
to a woman who was traveling the Italian countryside doing restaurant
reviews for a French web site. She directed us to the nearby village
of Sorano (the main square of which is pictured here), where we ate a
tasty lunch.
While wandering through Sorano, I discovered a Super Mario pinball
machine. Unfortunately it wasn't plugged in, so I was unable to
determine whether or not my Super Mario video game skills transferred
to the pinball version.
