After nine glorious years in San Francisco, I have moved back up to Seattle to
pursue a PhD in Computer Science at the UW. Seattle is a nice place, but given
that I've already lived here, I was lamenting that this big life transition
would not also come along with the excitement of geographically uncharted
territory.
Thus I resolved to make it up to myself by finding an excellent place to live.
My definition of excellent involves being able to take apart a diesel engine in
my living room, so I was worried that I might have a hard time finding such a
place in the Northwest. Fortunately I was mistaken. I present for your viewing
pleasure, some hastily taken photos of my new home.
