(continuation)
got up early today, bid our new friends farewell and headed to the garden of the sleeping giant where i took a million pictures (actually only about 140, of which 90 made the editing cut) because i knew my mom would be interested in fijian flora.

when we pass by the lilly pond again, the little lilly has closed up and gone to sleep.

three flowers for the price of one.

back in orchid land (or so i think).

yet more orchids. these are clearly a diverse family of flowers.

let's get a close up of that orange one, shall we?

a close relative of the green speckled with white plants from before, but these decorate themselves much more dramaticly.

another anemone looking plant.

kind of looks like a fox head in a very abstract sort of a way.

a bunch of plants growing out of coconut halves. i think this was sort of a plant nursery.

more nursery.
