I missed most of the intervening Worms titles, so it was with vivid memories of Scorched Earth firmly in mind that I played game after game of Worms on XBL against random annoying kids and loved every minute of it.

Hilarity! Comedy! Antics! I still remember it fondly even though it took me a year and a half to get around to writing this review.

More good clean wacky courtroom fun from our good friend Phoenix Wright. I played a bit of this with Erin which, given her years as a defense attorney, she found endlessly amusing.

Rodriguez’s film was a fine display of hot zombie on zombie action with no shortage of tongue in cheek. The trailers in between were outright hilarious. Tarantino’s film was just stressful. Fortunately it veered so far into the realm of the ridiculous that the stress started to evaporate, but we could have used some comic relief or something.

Not being an Adam Sandler fan, I didn’t see this until it was recommended to me in response to my delight with Will Ferrell’s performance in Stranger Than Fiction. I think the thinking was that this shows Sandler going a bit deeper than his standard wacky guy routine. I’ll grant him that, but I found the film painful to watch. He does an excellent angry, emotionally stunted, dysfunctional man.
